Both
I’m drawn
by both the darkness and the light
not
the being in one and the escaping from the other
not
the fleeing from one to find rest in the other
not
in rejecting one to hide in the other
not
in being in awe of one nor in fear of the other
not
in the freedom of one nor the restriction of the other
not
in the life of one nor the death of the other
but in the ever present
guided peace within both
